The machine customer already exists
The least controversial thing we can say: agents are already shopping.
They compare prices, assemble carts, and attempt checkouts on behalf of people today, at small scale, badly. The scale will grow. The badness is the interesting part.
Every failed attempt is a sale that silently did not happen. No analytics tool reports it, because the visitor was not a person. The store never learns that a machine tried and left.
We started Machine Commerce to make those attempts visible and measurable. The benchmark tells stores what breaks. The scorecard tells them how they compare. The products fix it.
The second customer is patient for now. It will not be patient forever.
